My Grandfather was Aubrey Mattingly, my Dad was born in California, Maryland.
My Grandfather was a serious alcoholic, he raised tobacco, beat my loving Grandma and my awesome Dad, so my Grandmother and Dad left Southern Maryland when my Dad was 10 years old. My Grandmother found a job waiting tables on Florida Ave. Washington DC. During that time my Dad learned to excel on his very own, became the Head Off Ice Official for the
Washington Chiefs & the Washington Capitals ice hockey team. I answered the phone when Abe Pollan owner of the Capital Center and offered my Dad the job in 1973.
I’ve lived being a Mattingly and proud to be alive and well here in the
United States of America

Love the photo. My mother, Rose Mattingly plus some of her siblings, aunts and an uncle are here. I would love to contact some family members.
